| Steve Baker | I remember playing the settlers on my old amiga and so I was intrigued to see that I could play it on my mobile now!
Unlike the computer-based game, the mobile version is mission-based, but clearly with the restrictions in place, this was always going to be the way. It actually works well for the mobile version because you are never likely to be playing a mobile game for hours on end.
I am no expert in mobile games, but to me the graphics seem very good. Most of the different buildings are easily distinguishable and the display is very colourful and textured.
Because there are no instructions, it was a little confusing at first and you feel like it's spoon-feeding you what needs to be done. However, as you move through the missions, you do have a lot more freedom of choice and some of the missions can take 15 minutes, which for a mobile game, seems quite good.
I still would have liked to have a more free-form option, but overall, it is a very enjoyable game. |

| Jeff Filmer | Entertaining game with interesting gameplay. |
|
| Bruce Douglass | Great strategy, good graphics and sound, fast paced action and interesting if slightly repetitive mini games. Over too fast however, there are only about ten levels and they can be completed in about five hours play, with only a few being taxing enough to need replaying. |
