Tom Clancy’s The Division departs Xbox Game Pass “soon,” alongside a trio of indies.
Microsoft has unveiled the next wave of titles set to depart Xbox Game Pass; it’s Netflix-style subscription service for Xbox One gaming. Following a strong start to 2019, four titles are also set to leave in the coming weeks.
Detailed via the Xbox dashboard’s Game Pass tab, the next games set to leave the library are Tom Clancy’s The Division, Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey Remastered, Riptide GP: Renegade, and The Escapists: The Walking Dead. While a firm departure date is yet to be specified, its library often rotates at the end of each month.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is this month’s most significant departure, rotating out the shared-world role-playing game ahead of its successor. With The Division 2 set to launch in March, Ubisoft likely hopes to convert new paying users ahead of launch. The accompanying trio of indies will also be missed, each with strong reception on the console.
In the meantime, Xbox Game Pass just picked up the entire Life is Strange saga so far, alongside Just Cause 3.
