When Outcast: Second Contact was announced, fans of the original rejoiced because it was the first time they could experience it on modern consoles, with modern visuals, since 1999.
The original PC game is regarded as a cult classic because it introduced a lot of innovations like an open world, which beat Grand Theft Auto 3 by a few years. Back then gamers hadn’t experienced anything like it and many were blown away by the imaginative setting and living environments.
The game has been delayed a few times as it was originally scheduled to launch in September. Since then we haven’t heard much, but publisher Bigben and developer Appeal have now announced that Outcast: Second Contact is coming to Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 on November 14, 2017.
