| Rex Abbott | After having 2006 and 2007 real football on my phones and being highly addicted, I did not believe it could get much better. But it has, now many more leagues have been added, so I can play as my beloved bolton wanderers among many others like any german or french team. There is also a brilliant challenge mode, giving you situations like the brilliant world cup final where you have just a few minutes to grab a goal for france and change the outcome.
The graphics have improved but only slightly, the teams are very up to date and tricks and amazing goals are even more easy to do however corners have been made harder but brilliant to watch on replay if a goal is the result of one.
The best upgrade is a new level of difficulty called hell, it really is hell but a great challenge as on the past two real football games, I found myself, after some time, winning every single game on the most difficult setting but not any more. The new setting will truly keep challenging me for a long long time if not forever.
Overall I am very impressed with this game, I find myself playing all the time and not getting bored and really would recommend it to anyone and for £4 off pay pal, that's an absolute bargain for the amount of playing hours it gives. |

| Stevey Beales | If you like football then you'll love this!!
What can I say.... This is one of the best football games i've ever played! The simplicity of the controls make playing it an absolute joy.
The graphics are top notch for a phone (i've got the 2d one and they still look great) the isometric view reminds me of old snes and megadrive footy games and the pace of the game is perfect.
I can't help laughing at the sensible soccer naming style (m. Close for germany anyone?!) but its all part of the games charm.
The only reason this game doesn't get a 10 for me is the licenses. But with fifa about I can't see that happening for a while. Top game great fun and perfect for that train ride home! |

| Adam Tan | What a learning curve going from buttons to touch screen for a soccer game!
It takes a lot of getting used to, controlling one's players with a mini stylus, but one gets the hang of it. Playing the game beyong amatuer takes lots of practice, and I wouldn't even think of playing in hell mode! It would have been nice if there was an option to use the numeric pad instead.
Sometimes, however, one's players "hang" a bit, and the opposing team just comes and takes the ball away from your player. That happens only occasionally but can be quite frustrating if you're 2-1 down with only minutes left on the clock!
The game is up to date, so there's bonus points for realism there. However, the music/sound is absolutely terrible. I would expect sounds of the crowd in the background, the ball being kicked, cheers when a goal is scored... But the sounds belong on a handheld game of the 80s. Way too basic and inadequate, even for a mobile game.
Overall, this game will provide one with hours of challenges and fun. Thoroughly recommended for soccer fans. |
