Placing ships or forts in the battle grids:
Use keys 2, 4, 6, 8 or navigation key to move the cursor. Press 1 to rotate the ship or fort. Press key 5 or action key to place the ship or fort.
Battle:
Use keys 2, 4, 6, 8 or navigation key to move the cursor. Press key 5 or action key to shoot. Press * to open the special weapons menu. Press 1 to rotate the cursor if possible.
