The object of MONOPOLY: Here & Now The World Edition is to try to be the wealthiest player at the end of the game. An interesting version of monopoly. Faithfully follows the original game board design, but instead of streets in 1 city comprising the properties available to buy, they are all cities around the world. For instance, the most expensive property available, normally mayfair £400 is now montreal.
Every time you land on chance or community chest as well as the actions demanded from the card, you also learn some interesting nugget of information based on each of the cities around the world inlcuding cultural information and technological information specific to that country.
This game offers a great way to learn about the world, and pick up some facts about countries and culture that you never knew before in a fun format.
Nice sounds and graphics. I enjoyed listening to the sounds of the game but had to turn off the background music as was slowly driving me insane.

This is a good game. There are a few bugs. When the program makes a trade offer and I attempt to scan down the list of properties it hangs up on occasion. Have to shut down and restart the game to continue.
The dice throw does not seem to be very random.
The game seems to be very luck when I am playing against it. It landed on free parking four times in a row when going around the board.
It will add one to the moves past jail and go to jail when the dice come up with a 3 on occasion. All players seem to get this so at least it is fair.

This is a great game. It's got everything that real monopoly has. So how could I deduct any marks from it? It looks great on the large screen of the tocco (f480). The hard ai opponents will give you a good challenge. Highly recommended.
