Wow, yet another reason to love this phone.. it supports ssl/tls for mail

Here are the settings. These are for FIDO but since we are using SSL on another port than 25, it works without having to use gprs.fido.ca for the smtp server

ok.. first to create a new account:

Messaging --> email --> settings --> Account settings --> New Account

You are asked to create an account name.

Once that is done, you automatically move on to the setup screens.

Connect Using: GPRS Data Account, not WAP. In my case FIDO (using internet.fido.ca APN)
Protocol: POP3
Incoming Server: pop.**********
Incoming Port: 995
Encryption --> Incoming Server: TLS/SSL
Encryption --> Outgoing Server: TLS/SSL
Mailbox: username***********
Password: your password
Outgoing Server: smtp.**********
Outgoing Port: 465
Email Address: username***********
Download: Whatever your preference is
From Name: Whatever you want
Signature: Your signature
Copy Outgoing: off
Check Interval: Whatever your preference

Click done, off you go!
