i have a d500, and now cant change ring tones or tick any boxes. Whenn tryng to chnage the tone it simply does not select the next tone, even though the other settings are changebale as usual.
the same is true when trying to change message tone.
I cant change laeam tones either.
Can someone please help? I have tried doing the following as supplied by samsung
1. Copy your phonebook into your sim, then save all the important pictures, messages... into your PC. Because some of the user data will be lost after its reset.
2. Remove your sim from your handset and install the battery back in.
3. Turn your handset on, press *2767*2878# then wait for few seconds it will power cycle automatically.
4. Press *2767*61667# then wait for few seconds.
5. Press *2767*61927# then wait for few seconds.
6. Finally, insert your sim back in your handset, install your battery and try again your ringtone setting.
and also
Due to your symptom was come in sudden, I would recommend you do a Sound Settings Reset by pressing "Menu" =>"Settings"=>"Reset settings"=> then please tick "All" =>"Reset"=>"Yes"
