Review
of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07
|
| Chika Osuagwu | Good golf game. I enjoy playing it. |
| Adrian Griffiths | Control system is the worst I have come across, no way of telling how much power you apply to a shot, especially when putting on the green. |
| Kevin Dunne | You only get one course (pebble beech) with game and it soon becomes pretty tiresome. |
| Irene Trumper | Excelent game. |
| Edward Starkie | This game is a massive disappointment. Having also bought and played vijay singh pro golf which is superb, this just felt pathetic. The screenshots shown do not reflect the game screens - it is not 3d as shown, but a 2d overhead display. Do not buy this game. You will be very disappointed. |
| E. k Igor | Good game. |
| James Mcilmurray | Nice game but lacks an abundance courses (only 2). |
| Andrew Milburn | Good game putting a litle week though. |
| Andy Hamilton | Best game every could play it none stop cause always changes gets better as time goes on because you can get the feel for wind direction and the run of the green. Best score so far is -13 wud advise everyone to buy it great game.. |
| Raymond Donald | Not having much experience with mobile games, I found this one good fun, and good value for money. |
| Rachelle Bakarich | Good game and easy to play. The putting aspect could be a little better but as a whole it's worth the cash. |
| Susannah Harrison | Easy to use, terrific graphics & sound effects. Really pleased. Just need some more battery life now! |
| Tammy Webb | Next best thing to being on the course. I love the game of golf, and love this game just as much. Graphics are cool. I recommend this to any golf fanatic. Try you'll love it. |
| Murray j Speden | Great game & great graphics. |
| David Leese | Ok but i've seen better, perhaps 08 will be an improvement.. |
| Ian Gretton | Pretty disappointed with this game, there are a couple of players to choose from but only two courses and only two game modes. Driving the ball from the tee was ok but putting seemed more luck than anything. |
| Peter Owen | Very basic, not very enjoyable. Then again spoilt by the excellent pc and psp versions. |
| Michael Courtney | Cool game which works well on a phone. It took a few holes to sort out the controls, especially the putting, but once understood its a very enjoyable game. Recommended. |
| Chris Spalding | Be warned, this looks nothing like the screenshots on an e900. You do not get a 3d game, but a 2d scolling game with overly sensitive controls that is impossible to play. Tw2006 is better, tw2005 is probably the best. |
| Mark Ostrow | Ok... First of all, if you are expecting the golf game that appears in the photos - be prepared - you are not going to get it. It does not have close ups of the holes, water hazards, sky or anything like that. Unless there is an option that I cannot find ( and I searched through the help section twice), everything was an overhead view - like you are in a plane looking down at the course.
The game has I think tiger woods and 3 other golfers to choose from. It has 2 courses.
You can play 4 holes, 9 holes or 18 holes.
You can play solo, against the computer or against a friend.
I was disappointed about the graphics, but the game play its self is fine. I am just getting used to determining how much power is needed to get the ball to travel the required distances. It kind of reminds me of a little better color version of the old gameboy golf.... With tiger woods instead of mario and luigi. (the graphics are better here too.)
It is not bad for what it is but it isn't what you expect from the pictures on this site. ea have produced 2 versions of this game, a 2d (for the less powerful phones) and the 3d version for the others, we don't have the list of each, but a rule of thumb nokia / sonyericsson / 3g phones will be 3d - ed |
| Kevin Saywell | Very good. |
| John Nugent | Very good fun, much improved from the 06 version, although a few more courses would have been nice. |
| Alan Harrison | Good game, easy to pick up and play straight away. |
| Matthew Gregory | This took a little while to get into. Nearly gave up on it, but it soon grew on me. |
| Jason Lotz | I wish there was more courses to play but still very entertaining!! For the phone it is an excellent game overall with great graphics. Gets my vote for a nice game to have in your pocket. ;). |
| chris dunn | Coooool game. Much fun and like the responsive controls. Can't belive it on a phone really!?!? V clever!! |
| Kevin Hughes | Some nice graphics and aproach play is realistic etc. But the lack of options once you're on the green lets the game down.
If you find yourself with an uphill putt of any reasonable distance you know it'll take you two attempts due to the inability to control the power of your putting. |
| Neil Mccallum | Awesome for a mobile game and very addictive. |
| Kevin Shanks | Good allround game, highly recommended. |
| Jason Wilkie | Decent game play but would be nice to have more than one course. |
| Samuel Pickard | Ok - there are clearly two completely different versions of tiger woods pga tour 07. I originally bought the game for my motorola razr v3x, and it was a clear update on twpgat06. The 3d graphics were much faster, and the putting system has been greatly improved. Alround, a great golf game (well, more sim than game)
So I also bought it for my krzr and was incredibly disappointed, on my krzr, the game had transferred into a 2-d, top-down golf game, the kind of which should've been buried years ago.
So, depending on your handset, you'll either get the best, or the worst golf game available - but you don't know what you'll get until after you hand over your cash, time to let us 'try before you buy' please gamemobile
apologies, it is correct there do appear to be 2 versions of this game, we didn't know this to be the case. The game is a 2d version for older and low power phones. - ed . |
| N m Shakibai | Its a playable game but no where near as good as pro golf 2007 feat vijay singh. Try again ea! |
| James Madden | Definitely an upgrade from my previous 2005 version -- better graphics and more holes to play. Only complaint is difficulty figuring out how to navigate the swing action -- 2005 version seemed more user friendly, intuitive, and controllable. Still, I recommend this if you have enjoyed the tiger woods franchise games in the past. |
| Roger Smith | The only bad thing is that I do not seem to be able to get to any other courses - maybe I am doing someting wrong! |
| Christopher Quinn | Rubbish, no real skill required. Waste of money and no where near as good as the older version. Leave this one, you have been warned. |
| Ewan Cope | Reasonable graphics is the best I can say about this game. Very complicated to use. Buy vijay singh instead! |
| Richard Hodge | Not bad at all. Some controls a bit fiddly but you soon get the hang of it . |
| Marc Gebler | Only played a few times but is addictive and fun. Best golf game on phone that I have played. |
