Review
of The Sims 3
|
| Rick Meeuwis | Great game, lots of playing time to spend on it and cool graphics. |
| Lucie Bickerdike | This is a very enjoyable, simplified version of the sims game. I'm getting a bit bored with it now that I seem to have hit a ceiling in my career, but I have been known to play it fours hours at a time! |
| debjdon | A very good game! |
| ruby of hardbottle | Have been playing it for a while now and thinks its awesome! |
| Robert Gamble | This game is fantastic - and looks very good on my nokia n95. |
| William Johnson | I find that you loase your money very quickly and thus can't progress very far in the game. |
| x donna x 13 | Love it. It is a really good game. Can't stop playing it x. |
| Alistair Vince | Great game for all ages, addictive enough for journeys and entertaining you when you are bored. Well worth buying! |
| Logan | I've not really played the sims 3 game that much.
It seems alright for a mobile phone game.
Not as good as the real deal though (obviously). |
| Abd rahman H adris | It's awesome.. Your sims can do fishing! Really fun playing the sims 3.. |
| Jayson Flores | Excellent very enjoyable. |
| andrewcwisdom | 99% good, but could have been a tad more similar to the second one, in the wants etc. |
| Loway Phanzu | Exellent 9/10 love it. |
| miss model86 | Brilliant game cant fault it. |
| Clair Jarman | Excellent game! Easy to use and understand,. |
| Caroline Galuszka | Im new to the sims family but I can see it'll soon be a firm favourite as soon as I get the hang of it. |
| Susan Cheesman | Great game if a bit odd, my character is married but can still go home. |
| Seb Smith | Good game and plenty of play time! |
| Jayne Lavelle | As a true newbie to the world of sims I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. I'm really happy that my phones touch screen can cope with the fiddly movement in catching fish and boiling pans.
I took a while to realise what and where to go and do.
*very addictive* spent chunks of days off just getting into the next week. Love the hints, the monkey one had me puzzled for weeks until a monkey had me!!
Well worth the money, even better if , like myself used my loyalty credits. |
| jimmyjgreg | The game is pretty good and there is a range of things to do such as gardening and work. And there are a good choice of customisations that you can choose for your character. However the game can be quite slow paced and a little boring while trying to get money to buy things like house upgrades and food recipies. 0verall a game which I would recommend to others who are fans of the sims. |
| Sue Cairney | Good games thanks. |
| V c Stewart | Pretty good, runs out pretty quick though. |
| Love Smith | This game is fun. I expected it to be boring since it is a mobile version, but I was surprised at the quality of the graphics and everything else. I am glad I bought this game! |
| Mr Amatosi | Having spent the last 5 hours getting to grips with the sims 3, here are the pro's and con's as I see them;
Pro's:
*familiar sims gameplay mechanics with aspiratins, needs, buying and moving of furniture.
* move more or less freely around a town map and interact with sims on the way.
*mini games such as fishing, cooking, repairing and gardening are present if you get bored of the main content.
*selectable sim traits and personality that affects gameplay enough top make you want to play again.
Cons:
*the user interface for the touch screen controls on my n97 are truely bad. You have to use on screen arrows to move the curser rather than just click on an object. This makes the game very frustrating.
*the graphcs on the n97 look very pixelated for a phone of this ability, especially when compared to the iphone version.
*the mini games are somewhat shallow after a while.
*the social interaction seems somewhat predictable, be nice and you'll make friends, be mean and other sims will dislike you. No skill of getting to know the sim in question involved really.
*the game is at a very slow pace, so don't expect to achieve anything fast.
Overall:
Not a bad game, just not a very good game. The poor touch screen controls are the main let down. If only you could scroll along the screen using the stylus rather than on screen buttons, and if only you could simply tap the object you want to you rather than fiddling about with the on screen buttons! If you like the sims though, this is an acceptable conversion and it'll take you a while to unlock all 75 achievements. |
| Suzanne Fisher | This is by far the best sims game I have played on a mobile. The graphics are clear and the gameplay is fun and involving.
In the sims 3 you start by choosing what your character will look like and decide on your traits and persona which will shape your game objectives.
Like in other games you'll have to furnish your house with better items, make friends and get a job but the best addition to this game is the fun skill-building mini-games which makes for a nice change of pace after balancing your sims needs and fulfilling their wishes. |
| scotsmokin | Not to bad a game nice set up and some nice things to do on it but every now and the it freezes up on me and have to quite ....... But glad I got it. |
| Andrew King | Great game - a lot more involved, instead of being stuck in one spot you can actually take your sim outside, go shopping go to work and meet others .. I can't wait to get it on pc to see how that goes.. |
| Pearl Anthony | I am addicted to this game. I love it. I make sure I play it for a couple hours each day. The lifestyle is as close as real can get for a mobile game. From kicking over trashcans to slapping people.. From flirting to making whoopi!. Haha its really good and I would recommend it to anyone! |
| Lidia Cieslik | Its not bad but the computer version is better. |
| Tracey Kent | Really good game. |
| Rachel Hadley | Love it really good and way better than sims 2. |
