Review
of The Sims 2
|
| Karen Walsgrove | Far too addictive, excellent game. |
| Pearl Anthony | The sims 2 is a great game.. Although you cant leave the house. The wants list and upgrades are what makes it interesting. I got really addicted to it the first time I played it but then I introduced myself to the sims 3 which is what i'll call a super upgrade! |
| Samantha Ford | Really good and simple to play ( a bit too simple) for a few weeks really good but quite easy to master and finish the game when you are left with nothing else to do. Have now allowed children to play it as it is much better suited to their level. Worth the price if you are wanting a simple game. |
| Raquel Abrunho | This game was alright but I prefer the sims 3 a lot more. This one gets boring after a while. |
| Andrea Barquero fernández | Hello, I buy the game because it had already played in console but the truth is that step more time with my cell phone than in my house. So I decided to try, does not have as many options as the console versions, but at least I am amused that the system is the same, and has the surprise element overnight runs fast, the graphics are clear, and the game isn't so tedious for long waits in the console version. Therefore I commend it, in addition I play it anywhere without losing a call, without anyone be account which I am in another world. Xd. |
| Veronica Carceller | Addictive and surprisingly interesting. Of course, it doesn't rival the pc version. It's a good enough to quickly sate a sim fix. The game play is intuitive enough and the images (although slightly blurry on a nokia 5070) work quite well. Overall, a good game. |
| Rebecca Worrilow | Really good game. |
| Paul Gurney | Great game as my daughter is a massive fan of sims games. Well recommended. |
| Evagelos Voischos | Always same storyline, very short playtime till the end.
Not bad not good. |
| Dylan Tusler | I've quite enjoyed playing this game on the 5800. You will need to use the stylus or plectrum, but it works fine. I haven't finished it but it seems to be quite a cut down version, good for five or six hours of gameplay, then start again with another sim. The sound fx are subtle and the animation is adequate. I haven't played any of the sim games on pc for years, but this didn't seem too far off the mark for a mobile version. Possibly if you are really into sims games generally, you might find this limiting. |
| Marco Ribeiro | It is quite amazing how such a complex and fun game like the sims 2 can fit perfectly into a mobile game, with all the limitations and everything. But it does. Perfectly! |
| Borut Vidosevic | Nice, but over too soon. |
| Sven Bornemark | This is a mini-mini version of the sims that actually works on a tiny cell phone! The game is highlky playable on my nokia e71. I've spent 15-30 minutes a day with it now for a couple of weeks, and i'm still not finished. I wonder if there really is an end... Highly recommended for anyone who is a fan of the full versions of the sims. /sven bornemark. |
| Clair Jarman | This game is good if you enjoy the pc game. The controls take a little getting used to. You have 'wants' things that your sims need to do which makes it more interesting. Some of the things I would change: I would like to change your name or actually create your own sim, you have to choose one already on it. Also build you own house, you don't get to do this but if you enjoy the doing the day to day things such as cooking, working, sleeping then you will like this game. |
| Ricardo Kutz | Okay title. Needs support for object purchases, i. E furniture, clothes etc. Via ea. Very repetitive gameplay. No replay value. (version moto v3, limited gameplay). |
| clare030182 | As a pc simmer I was interested to play this game. I love it, it's just as fun as the pc version. I only gave it a 9 as I found it hard to work out how to raise my skills. |
| Steve Baker | I must admit to being a little sceptical about how this could be done on a mobile but seeing a number of good reviews, I thought i'd give it a go.
To be honest, when I first played it, I found it a little too slow. However, I recently got stuck on the train and it gave me a perfect opportunity to start playing the game for longer and before I knew it, the train was moving again and I had to get off.
As such, it seems to have the same attributes as the pc version of the game where time just disappears and as you play longer, you get to add more and more to your house, thus opening up more alternatives to try.
Although I still find the scrolling a little slow, it is definitely an absorbing game. It is not the best game i've played on the mobile but it's up there in the top 10. |
| Marcus Hanman | Good game.. Didtnt take that long to finish tho.. |
| WAP Review | This game is superb! I realize that it is very difficult to make a mobile game that is as enjoyable as a pc game but they have done a very good job with this one. I would definitely recommend it! |
| Marion Williams | Excellent until all the rooms are bought and needs met, then it's boring. |
| rachelg18103 | As the first sims game i've ever tried, this seems like a lot of fun. |
| Sarah Lewis | For a phone game it was better than I thought it was going to be, and it had a good 'storyline' type thing :-) but obviously it's not as good as the pc version! |
| ohhowbeautiful | This game is exciting at first, but once you begin playing it gets repetitive and a bit boring. |
| Adam Purdy | Its good for a mobile version of the sims, I did get into it but it didn't get me right from the start, its a little slow. |
| Rachel Hadley | Its ok I havent finished it so far and thats because I had the sims 2 on another phone and found it very easy 2 complete so im trying to make this 1 last as lon as possible but I love the sims anyway so on that hand its good. The only down fall is u cant make them speed up between task and can get a bit annoyin. |
| Kiat sing Chua | If you like sims 2 on pc, you'll like this version on mobile. I love it. |
| Francesca | Screen quality not too gd, but what can I expect on a phone! |
| Amanda Gwee | The sims 2 will have you playing for hours on end, and the graphics are amazing. Very much like the real thing, this game may seem slow paced at times, but will always have you doing something. This is worth every penny. A must have game. |
| rock chick 411 | I think this game is great and the graphics were also really done good. I would definitely reccomend this product to someone who loves simulation games. |
| Venu Madhav | A good effort by team to optimize the game in such a way to use so less. |
| Geoff Rodgers | This game is just like its 'big brother' on other platforms. I must admit I haven't got far yet but the graphics and user interface are good. A fine choice to keep you busy and dabble into from time to time. |
| Michelle Kerr | Great game!!! |
| Khawaja Bilal | The game was quite decent and the graphics were good but it lacked imagination. You can get through the needs pretty quickly but then it gets repetitive. It can't be compared with the pc version but for a mobile it wasn't too bad. |
| Marinella Moscatelli | I use a translator because I don't know well the english. As the game for pc, this for cellular it hears soon the necessity of an expansion because the things to be done after a time become repetitive. It's a game to be left "to rest" and to take back after a cuple of days. |
| Vanessa Marie vella | The best game ever. |
| Karen Taylor | Good game, good graphics. |
| Christopher Ong | The good : its an official sims game at least.
The bad : it barely plays like the sims game that its supposed to be.
Similar games on phones like miami nights are far superior. |
| WAP Review | Ok. |
| Rachel Hadley | Love the sims its cool man! |
| amalia500 | Wow. |
| Karen Pearson | Excellent game , ordered this for ymy 12 year old son and he loves it , keeps him occupied for sometime .. Well worth the purchase. |
| Loretha Erby | This mobile version of the sims 2 was my very first time ever playin any of the "sims" games. I thought i'd try a cheaper version of the game before I shelled out a larger amount to purchase the pc version. I played this game almost nonstop for 24hrs straight. I felt like I was a part of the game, because, like the character in the game, my meter was on red before I went to the bathroom or ate, or anything. I enjoyed the game, although I do hope that there are more options in the pc version. For one thing, I had hoped that when the character throws a party, that all of the sims would dance, and move around talking to each other. But only your character is able to do anything. All of the other characters simply stand there. But other than that, it's a decent game. |
| Lyndsey marie Clark | Loved it!! |
| Alexandre Gouverneur | Very funny !
Multilingual version !
Excellent implementation on mobile phones !
... But, it is complex to quit quickly a session. The quitting procedure is not really adapted to a mobile phone. |
| Simon Preece | Quite a good reproduction of the hugely popular console / pc life simulation. It transfers quite well to the n91, although I cannot comment on other mobile phones. It takes a bit of getting used to on a much smaller screen but none the less it's a great game, taking control of your much smaller sims. Very good and recommended! |
| Paul Wainwright | This game is not as good as pippa funnel! |
| claire1573 | Brill game. |
| Nicola Whittam | Great game. |
| Joshua Westbury | Limited adaptation of the sims. Fun to play but fairly linear - rooms and items seem to become available to buy in a set order, there's no sense of making lifestyle choices. |
| Zarina Ramli | The sims 2 mobile is surprisingly, boring! Don't get me wrong but I love the sims 2. It's just that in my other the sims 2 games in the play station 2 and gameboy advance, the character is more realistic. I don't understand why in the mobile version, you cannot type in any name you want. It's not as though there is no keypad for you to type in letters. In other the sims 2 games in any other game devices, you can go outside but in this version, you only stays inside a house. What fun is it if you can't travel everywhere you want? |
| Mark A read | I wasn't a fan of this - I didn't realistically expect it to be as involved as on the pc of course, but I did expect a little more longevity. All the tasks were complete in a matter of a few short days - although the game doesn't actually end, you are just left with mundane 'every second' tasks to complete and no long term goals. I bought this because I knew how long it took to play sims on the pc and how mich there was to do, so this was particularly disappointing.
Also, the animations on the w810i version were virtually non existant so beware if you don't have a nokia. Perhaps it is more involved on other formats?
Fun for a couple of days but ultimately unsatisfying. |
| Sarah Mills | Very good. |
| Becki Johns | This game is ok but its very easy too easy in fact I completed it in a few days now im just making lots of money in it and have no goals to aim for. |
| Randall Smith | This game sucks. You can't even leave your house. I like miami nights better. |
| Karyn Donachy | Could be just a tad bit better with challanges and maybe leave that house to go out to other places.
Gets a bit boring in the end... Or is it just me? |
| Bob Dunbar | Great game but can get a little repetitive after a while! Especially good if you enjoy sims 2 on the computer, very similar! |
| Justin Etu | I would recommend this game as a great addition to your mobile game library. It has the familiar feel of the pc version of the sims, which as another reviewer mentioned, is not an easy task to accomplish when shrinking such a massive game to mobile scale. It does seem to have some down-time issues, at least in the beginning. That is, I felt like I had little to do while waiting for time to pass or for the work carpool to arrive. But as the game progresses and you purchase new items and upgrades, those issues disappear. I would recommend this to sims fans on the go. |
| Emily Cross | An amusing game that is easy to learn - great if you have time to kill! |
| Gerrard Isherwood | Had the sims bustin' out on my n-gage, which was vert good. The sims 2 is a different game entirely but still loads of fun. I have had difficulty putting it down! A+. |
| Caroline Maxwell | Excellent game. Very impressed by the playability, considering the game has been scaled down to accomodate a mobile phone. Very luck the sims, rather than sims 2. Would highly recommend. |
| Kath Butler | bit limited to the computerised version, but still an addictive game. |
| Kris Downes | Not bad for a mobile game,. |
| Simon Goldsmith | Great little game. |
| Richard Mallinson | If you're a fan of the ps originals then you'll enjoy this, graphics are very good for a mobile game, and enjoyable playability. The game is a little simple though and easy to complete. |
| Jacqui Brearley | Fantastic. |
| jealousracoon | Enjoye this game have the whole collection for my pc at home. |
| Kamarás Erik | I like this game. I have the sims 2 pc game, and I know it is really hard to do the same thing on a mobile, but this was a surprise for me. Great work, it has the sims-feeling - and that's the most important. |
| Ibrahim Katwati | Cool now I can bring my sim around. |
| trevewills | It wuld be good if the game actually was on my mobile I payed for a game that doesn't work. |
