| Steve Baker | Don't need to say too much about this game... It's tetris, it's perfectly suited to the mobile platform and it's great.
There are some nice variations on the theme so that you'll always find a game format to suit how long you have, although you'll undoubtedly end up playing more games than you intended.
One thing ths is nice is that it allows you to "hold" one piece so that you can get a more desirable one. For a tetris purist, it probably feels like a bit of a cheat but I think it adds to the experience.
In summary, everyone should have tetris on their phone:-). |

But if you're a tetris fan, you won't go far wrong with this. 3 game modes - the classic continuous "faster-and-faster", plus "highest-score-in-3-minutes" and "40-lines-as-quickly-as-possible". Instinctive and responsive controls. Not much sound, but who needs that? Great stuff overall... Although maybe a few more game variations might add even more longevity. |

| Steve Pearson | Downloaded this game onto my old pebl whilst waiting for my main phone to be fixed. Good graphics and as mentioned in other reviews has all the main features of the original game. There are drawbacks, however which I presume are related to the phone type, even though it is listed as compatible.
Firstly you cannot see the bottom few rows whilst playing the game so you have to play the first shapes blind until they start to stack up.
Secondly, for some reason the menu options appeared on the screen but weren't selectable. By this I mean that although displayed as a list of four or five items such as play, options etc, the keypad didn't respond to any up/down commands and would only let you select play.
Once in the game the keypad worked normally with all the rotate and fast down controls usuable.
Overall a good game, as long as your phone can handle it.
Only 7/10 as it didn't quite work on the u6. |

But the game has a flaw: sometimes the piece descending moves two spaces instead of one when positioning it from side to side, and the only way to stop this is to quit the game completely and start over. Without the flaw, I would have given the game a 9/10. |

However the game does disappoint in the fact that when playing in marathon mode there is no way to save the game for continue later and you always have to start again. This is very annoying when you are on a high level and a big score. So if anybody knows how to save the game please leave a hint on your reviews. Because of this I can only rate the game a 7. |

Sharp, bright and beautiful colours help make this game pleasing to the eye! An easily played game, with few controls, tetris is a game that is loved by all.
Unfortunately, although the game does have its perks, this tetris game lacks appeal as there are 3 different game modes, not that different and each one slightly boring.
Overall, this game is a winner, still going strong after many years, and despite the minor downfall, its an addictive and fun game!!! |

Lacking in the old retro tetris music with a few little sound effects.
The game is a little slow but very pleasing to play.
The game saves which level you got up to, and allows you to select which level you want that you have got up to.
If you know your peice is in-line, press the button to drop it rapidly, as this will speedily gain you more points!!!
There is a counter that informs you of how many lines you need to complete in order to continue onto the next level.
A game well worth having indeed for you mobile fun!!!

| Evelyn Dixon | I love tetris; its one of my favorite game ever. This game offers a 'ghost' option, which allows you to see where your piece will fit before it actually drops into place. It does not have the original music of tetris, nor does it have options for altering the audio. This is probably becasue of licensing, which is not a deal breaker. Pausing the game at any given moment is simple, as is the help menu. It saves the high score, and has 3 modes to play: marathon, where you continue until you lose/win (i have never 'won'); ultra mode, where you compete to beat the high score in 3 minutes or less, and 40 lines, where you go as fast as possible to create and clear 40 lines. 9/10 only because of missing music. |

The controls and intuative and use the number pad well. Three game views are available, standard marathon mode lets you play for as long as you like while 40 lines is a good quick way to get you tetris fix on the train to work. Add the ultra mode and you have plenty of ways to play tetris. If some kind of multiplayer had been included this would be a perfect version, that aside it is a darn good game and worth a download. |
