Review
of Peggle
|
| Tom Koukoulis | Great value for money. Still playing the adventure mode. Very good for commuters as you can play a few levels at a time and automatically saves your progress. Can be played with the stylus or without (for when walking).
Addictive. Make sure you don't stuble on the top of the escalator while playing it. I did!
Good for people liking strategy games and for people wanting simpler games.
Only drawback is it doesn't have any sound effects when ball bounces of pegs which I think would make it more interactive. It is still very immersive that some times I feel I want to turn my phone to nudge the ball in a particular direction (but obviously doesn't work on the w960i). |
| Neka Vis | Its just like the online version. |
| susielovell | Brilliant game, had it on the computer so bought it for my mobile. Great fun to play. |
| Joanna Weber | If the pc version of peggle is addictive, endearing and ingenious, then the phone version goes one better - by condensing that fine balance between kitsch and cute into a very simple and easy-to-use format suitable for the phone.
It's worth playing the pc version - even the browser version - to get the hang of what you're supposed to do, and then after that it's plain sailing. Hold down the soft keys to change the entry point for the ball, or press once for finer movements.
I didn't get any sound (although sound is supposed to be included) but since i'm playing it on the bus, I didn't mind. You still get the firework display on successful completion of each level.
It's pretty much exactly the same as the pc version (other than graphics and the use of keys), and just as fun.
One of the very best games for the mobile phone. |
| Frederick Reynolds | Very similar to the pc game, but is it a game of luck or skill? I say skill, and it's highly addictive too. If you are playing it on the train or something, you'd better be careful or you might miss your stop... |
| Marc Johnson | Awesome game, worth every penny, all the levels you can do then the challenges. The graphics for a mobile game are fantastic, a must buy! |
| Edward Mccrellis | Same as pc game,, cant stop playing.. Cool. |
| maureensmith93 | Good addictive game ! |
| Arie Hofland | Peggle is a masterful game, where you shoot a little ball to hit all the pegs. The controls and physics used feel very natural, and this is really one of those 'easy to learn, hard to master' kind of games. Very nice to do a board while sitting in the train or something; you should also check out the pc version though it's virtually the same as the mobile version. |
| Rebecca Bowley | Ok I suppose but not wot I expected. |
| Pedro Guedes | Excelent! |
| Robyn Ferrari | A little hard to work at first but once you get the hang of it, its a great game ! |
