As you navigate within the terrorist organization, you must carefully weigh the consequences of your every action. Kill too many criminals and you'll blow your cover. Hesitate too long and millions will die. Do whatever it takes to complete your mission, but get out alive.
You will first have to gain the trust of your hated enemies. To do this, you will need to blend in to some pretty daunting environments such as deep within the ocean and a high security prison. In the process, you will have to cooperate with terrorists, keep casualties that might reveal your true nature at a minimum, and learn enough to thwart their objectives. Once, you've collected all the evidence you need, you'll broadcast the evil truth of your colleagues intentions. Finally, Sam will return to the right side of good and evil as he attempts to defeat the terrorists and their evil plots, once and for all. During your mission you will be equipped with all the tools you need including revolutionary new weapons such as stun guns and magnetic grenades. These stealth weapons will help you blend in with the enemy and strategically kill your enemies.

| Edward Howden | The splinter cell continues to be a great series of games for your mobile phone. Sam is still as nibble and agile as ever and all the graphics are top notch. The inclusion of some poor underwater levels don't add much but the other stealth levels shine as a great experience. |

| Anthony Punshon | Very, very nice game.
It uses a nice system of avoiding setting off alarms and trying to get through the level mostly undetected by staying in the shadows, taking out guards silently, and avoiding cameras, etc. Which keeps it interesting and gives it tonnes of repeat play value.
It also has decent length levels (being drawn out by the puzzle aspect), quite a few missions, and different difficulty levels, meaning it's not another 'complete it in 20 minutes and never play again' game (crash twinsanity anyone?) that there are so many of.
I rated it 9/10, and the only reason it didn't get 10 is because of the size. It weighs in at a whopping 300k for my pebl, 3 times the size of my other biggest games. If you turn on the sound, you'll find out why, using samples of screams and whatnot. Seems unnecessary for a mobile game and after playing it through the first time without sound, I can say it ads nothing to the game other than filesize. I also think the complexity of the graphics could have also been scaled down without losing atmosphere and combined with losing the samples could have probably cut the filesize in half.
But if taking up phone space is irrelevant to you, it really is a fantastic game. Exactly what a mobile game should be and i'd recommend it to anyone. |
