| Iain Meldrum | I have played - and loved - puzzle bobble on a variety of formats and was hoping this would be just as addictive. How unpleasantly surprised I was, then, that this did not live up to the name. I have played a similar game called bubble bash on the ku990 which had a progressive style of game with a gradual increase in difficulty, the ability to aim using the touch screen, alternative game styles, new bubble types and a host of other little features that just made their absence on puzzle bobble all the more apparent and frustrating. There are still the elements of puzzle bobble that made it so fun - but this is hugely disappointing in the light of other choices. |
