| Mark Ostrow | I didn't know what to expect because there were no reviews... So, I guess i'm the first one.
The key is learning the controls.
*= hit the ball to the left
0=hit the ball straight
#=hit the ball to the right
You use the dpad to move the paddle left and right.
There is a tutorial where you can learn and practice these things.
There is a tournament with 5 or 6 ai players. Each player including the one that you choose has a special power move.
As previously, mentioned - once you get a hang of the controls - this game gets addictive. The animation is smooth - there is no lag time or slowness.
The only thing that really held me up was that I keep forgetting to let the ball bounce once before I hit it.
Other than that - this is the only ping pong game I have seen for the phone and it is an excellent one at that. The only reason that I gave it a 9 is due to the fact that it may take a few moments to get used to the controls. |
