| Steve Baker | I've been a computer gamer for long time and one of the iconic games is sim city. Well I never thought I would be able to play this on something as small as a mobile phone, but "megacity empire new york" is an extremely good try.
One criticism of mobile games that i've seen is that they don't take long enough. Well I haven't played this for long, but the levels do seem to last a fair amount of time. The graphics are colourful although as the city gets larger, it's sometimes difficult to pick out the building you want.
The only other slight criticism I would raise is that it does seem to lead you by the hand a little too much. However, this may just be a symptom of me not playing very much, because I suspect it will get harder further into the game. Also, there is a free play option which i'm guessing let's you build what you want.
I think that this review has come out a little more critical than I intended because these are very minor issues and if your after a good little time waster, you could do a lot worse than this game. |
| Jason a Hawkes | Really nice game, graphics are a bit basic, however this is made up for with the number and depth of the scenarios the game has to offer. The game play itself is a traditional city building, that is if you liked the original simcity or simcity 2000 you will be happy with this a new phone adaption. |
| Clare Jacobs | I thought this would be an exciting game but I was very disappointed. All you can do is decide if you want to build or demolish a building/park/road. |
