Devise the right strategy for each match to reach the top of your regional league and get onto the masters division to become champions. You control it all; from training and formation to transfers and team finances.
At the start of each game you pick the team, with the option to choose from a variety of tactics and formations. As the game progresses you put your managerial expertise on the line as you make substitutions or change tactics to maximise your team’s potential. Train your players to build a strong defence, a dynamic midfield and an attacking strike force, and add valuable talent points. You can keep track of your team’s league ranking via Live News bulletins and on TV highlights. But don’t become too side-tracked with the beautiful game, and keep track of your team’s finances, so you don’t go bankrupt.
It’s not just the team and matches that you control, you also control the stadium right down to the ticket prices and number of seats, through to buying, selling and borrowing players. A great new feature is the extra finance possibilities through sponsorship and advertising, and you can even change the player’s names. Detailed instructions take you through the game, allowing even the newest of gamers to become a champion manager.

| Adam Tan | Oh my goodness! This game is awesome! With so much customisation, this game is no push-over. One has to juggle each player individually and the finances, etc. Game play is pretty easy in terms of navigation, and the graphics are simple but cool. I wish that the match speed could be adjusted, though, as well as the jerseys. And my players' fitness don't go up despite resting. Overall, however, this game is bound to keep you occupied for hours! |
| Grayhollywood | Well now. I'd feel bad if I gave this game a low score, so a solid seven will have to do. The gameplay ain't nearly as exciting as champ man 2008 is, plus the graphics are well off too. Apart fromk that its not too bad. The players names can be changed though, which, if you spend the time it could be well better to play. Championship manager 2008 is by far the best footie manager game people, but this may come second. |
