| Kylie Daws | In test mode, you can test your english to see how much you have improved and in this mode, there are four tests on four aspects of english: vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and expression. Your progress will be recorded each time you take a test.
In practice mode you can practice three themes in english: school, real life and fun. In the school theme, you can practice your knowledge of basic english such as grammar in questions like ‘match blanks’. In the real life theme, you can practice your daily english in slag expressions, idioms, conversation and picture reaction. In the fun theme, you can practice your english by playing the four mini-games in this mode: hangman, draw and win, spell power and illusion.
Sounds/music are quite good, graphics are quite good as well except some can be hard to tell what they actually mean and you have to use your common sense. Fun game to practice your english whatever your main language is! |
| Alexander Burrell | Everyday english trainer is a fun little game that doesn't take itself too seriously. You start off by creating a profile for yourself and then simply begin the tests. There are such tests as "idioms" where you are given a well-known saying and have to give the correct meaning, and "reaction" where you are shown a scene and must choose what the person in the scene is saying.
At the end of the tests you are given your results in the form of grades, and then a percentage of over-all completion.
You can also practice the individual tests if you want.
The only thing that really lets this game down is sometimes you can't really tell what is going on in some of the pictures, but this is rare.
The graphics are colourful and quite vibrant, and the music is fun to listen to while playing... But most of all, it does actually help you improve your english spelling, grammar and structure of sentences. Great game! |
