King Khnar is conquering the world. Your castle is the last place where people are still fighting for the freedom. You, the King, are going to struggle for emancipation and free your people and your neighbors. But your conquest is not easy. Khnar is very tricky and his army is big and strong.
You will have to use all your skills and knowledge to win the chess, Chess Conquest! Chess Conquest is a wild mix of classic chess game and RPG. It has strong AI with several levels of difficulty, a story line, many challenging problems to solve, high quality graphics, and a very nice sound. You have never played such chess game before!

| Nclifton | Does what it says on the tin - you can play chess. In addition you can choose either a chess game or a campaign, with the latter you have to get out of a chess problem before you get to play a full game, at least I think that's what happens, as I haven't beaten it yet!
I found the classic pieces the easiest to see, but then i'm 47, wear glasses and the screen on my nokia isn't very big.
Features include the ability to step back through moves (#), very handy if you missed what the opponent did, and a quick-save (*) option.
Nice to see that, when I repeat the same moves after stepping back, the ai doesn't always do likewise.
The quick-save lets you save current progress without overwritting the original slot, so you can start the origianl again and learn from your mistakes ... Or not.

Ai skils: easy, normal, hard, master
Your colour: white, black, random
Your race: gothic, mortes, savage, shogun, classic
Saved slots: 5 plus quick save slot

Sometimes frustrating when you fail a fair bit, but once you overcome it yyour back on track. |
