    Andrea DenottiAs a beginner i've tried out a few free pc and mobile chess games out there before kasparov. Compared to the other mobile chess games I tried I find kasparov to be strong even at the "novice" setting. (one level higher than "beginner" ). And there are another 3 levels above that!!
    The image is cristal clear and moves made by the engine are highlighted well after the move. There are a three choices of boards in 2 or 3d and all moves can be reviewed in "move history". You can exit the game suddenly and it's automatically saved. You also can take back moves you've already made. The only thing I might complain about is that you cannot see which pieces have been taken and you cannot ask for a hint. But for a mobile game and at this price that's really nit picking!
    Erik EhrlingI'm not an expert chess player, so I can't say anything about the level of play of the chess engine - but at least for me kasparov chess is the most ideal game to have in my mobile phone. The graphics are nice and clear, the user interface is intuitive. The computer makes its moves fast enough so that you don't have to wait too long. All in all ideal for a quick game on the commuter train, while sitting waiting etc. If you don't have time to finish there is a nifty save-game-feature so that you can come back later. There is also the possibility to take back a move, which useful for someone like me that sometimes do some not-so-very-good moves. I haven't tried any of the other chess games out there (e. G. Chessmaster), but kasparov chess fits my needs perfectly, so they will remain untried.
    Kalman PflancerWell impressed wih this chess game cos, screen in 3d mode so realistic. The levels of difficulty truly get harder from novice to advanced(5 levels in all). I have played chess since I was a wee nimper with my dad(who could of toppled kasparov in his prime.) if you want a challenge on the go this is it.
    P. S you might miss your bus thinking about your next chess move.
