Preparations remain underway to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC, shifting Microsoft’s iconic first-person shooter series beyond Xbox consoles. With plans for a staged rollout, Halo: Reach kicks off the release schedule, reviving the 2010 spinoff alongside 4K visual upgrades. And while the six-piece complication is set to launch later this year, an early access beta lays ahead.

Developer 343 Industries was first aiming for an April 2019 beta kick off, bringing Halo: Reach PC to its first pool of players via the Halo Insider Program. However, the team missed its initial window after stumbling on various hurdles, now yet to commit to a new timeframe.
