How do you get Pokémon Go on Windows 10 mobile? With the PoGo-UWP Universal Windows Platform client!
Up until now, Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile users have been shut out of the fun, with very little information on whether or not we’ll ever get an official app, like Pokémon Go on iPhone enjoys. Thankfully, ST-Apps has managed to port Pokemon Go to UWP (via Reddit), running it as an open source project on Github. This is an early beta test version, so it’s missing a lot of Pokemon Go’s best features including the game’s augmented reality features and 3D models.
Still, if you want to help test the app and contribute to development, you’ll need to follow some simple, but advanced steps to get it running on your phone, as it’s not available in the Windows 10 Store. All you need is a PC and Windows 10 Mobile connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Here’s what you need to know.
