Description
The most realistic cricket game on your mobile, endorsed by England captain Michael Vaughan! Perfect your batting and bowling in the practice nets, and then compete in a One Day International or 20:20 match, before taking on the rest of the world in the ultimate knockout tournament. Take control of an international team of your choice. Each player has their own unique combination of skills, so you'll have to make the most of each one to bat and bowl your way to victory.

The 2007 - 2008 version is the best and most advanced version of this game so far. Excellent quality graphics and easy to use controls make this probably the best cricket game currently available. Very useful tutorials as well. A huge improvement on the 2006 - 2007 version which was a bit complicated and was a bit shaky in places. If you like cricket, you'll love this game.

I've reviewed this title on a sony ericsson w890i, but I am beginning to think that my ancient motorola v3x is a better games phone.

I'm quite a fan of michael vaughan 06. I liked the format, the controls, the 'believability' that i've hit that ball for six. All in all it was a very satisfying game which led me to spending many many hours playing it, so I was looking forward to 07/08 and seeing what improvements could be made. Now, whilst I agree that 06 was too easy, this was not the way i'd have fixed it.

First impressions are that there have only been small changes. The way the game works is broadly similar. There are some new bowling options (switching whether you are going over or round the wicket, and how close to the stumps you want to bowl from) but more or less everything else seemed to be very similar.

Except for playability. Looking at it again, i'm beginning to wonder if these graphics have been done in 3d. If so, they need to get some of the 3d routines from tiger woods, because all of the graphics in this are now slow. This means that timing the ball properly is virtually impossible. When you're bowling, then the direction is more or less random.

Which is a massive shame actually. There are a plethora of cricket games for mobile, and most of them are rubbisj. Mv06 shone like a gem amongst them, but this upgrade was unplayable and has left me disappointed and unconvinced that I will pay for their next version.

This game is poor. Graphics are not good. While batting, for eg; if ganguly is batting, the run displays in rohit sharma place instead of ganguly's place. Even the bowling option is not good. Options for fielding settings are very bad. Not proper options are given. Pls try to develop a good match. I appreciate earlier match of michael vaughan, ie 2006/2007. It was far far better than the present one (2007/2008).

Nice graphics and challenging rounds though very little variation. You're able to play quick games and save, which should be a feature of any mobile phone game, where long and tedious episodes aren't suitable!
