Customer Reviews
Definitely an upgrade from my previous 2005 version -- better graphics and more holes to play. Only complaint is difficulty figuring out how to navigate the swing action -- 2005 version seemed more user friendly, intuitive, and controllable. Still, I recommend this if you have enjoyed the tiger woods franchise games in the past.
- James Madden 9/10

Ok... First of all, if you are expecting the golf game that appears in the photos - be prepared - you are not going to get it. It does not have close ups of the holes, water hazards, sky or anything like that. Unless there is an option that I cannot find ( and I searched through the help section twice), everything was an overhead view - like you are in a plane looking down at the course.
The game has I think tiger woods and 3 other golfers to choose from. It has 2 courses.
You can play 4 holes, 9 holes or 18 holes.
You can play solo, against the computer or against a friend.
I was disappointed about the graphics, but the game play its self is fine. I am just getting used to determining how much power is needed to get the ball to travel the required distances. It kind of reminds me of a little better color version of the old gameboy golf.... With tiger woods instead of mario and luigi. (the graphics are better here too.)
It is not bad for what it is but it isn't what you expect from the pictures on this site.
ea have produced 2 versions of this game, a 2d (for the less powerful phones) and the 3d version for the others, we don't have the list of each, but a rule of thumb nokia / sonyericsson / 3g phones will be 3d - ed the game has I think tiger woods and 3 other golfers to choose from. Ok - there are clearly two completely different versions of tiger woods pga tour 07. I originally bought the game for my motorola razr v3x, and it was a clear update on twpgat06. The 3d graphics were much faster, and the putting system has been greatly improved. Alround, a great golf game (well, more sim than game)

So I also bought it for my krzr and was incredibly disappointed, on my krzr, the game had transferred into a 2-d, top-down golf game, the kind of which should've been buried years ago.

So, depending on your handset, you'll either get the best, or the worst golf game available - but you don't know what you'll get until after you hand over your cash, time to let us 'try before you buy' please gamemobile
apologies, it is correct there do appear to be 2 versions of this game, we didn't know this to be the case. The game is a 2d version for older and low power phones. - ed .

Customer Reviews
Im totally addicted to this game - for a mobile phone game its pretty impressive. Lots of levels and different types of races. It aslo gives you a % of how much of the game youve completed. Im sure the 'tuning' feature would be really useful if I was a petrol head and had an idea of how the different types of components would benefit my car but unfortunately I dont have a clue - a little help section for this would be useful.
- timothy skinner 8/10

Wonderful graphic design, and a game very funny, but movments are jurky (on my e61), the keyboard risks to be destroyed quickly and sound very poor.
I think it is a good game, only with a bluetooth joystick or keyboard.

- Alexandre GOUVERNEUR 7/10

Brilliant game play and graphics
10/10 on models
10/10 on handling of cars

Couldnt ask for much more from a mobile game tbh, I recomend it indefinatly.

I really like this game. It's similar to games such as puzzle bobble where you have to connect so many balls of the same colour but has an added element of planning. The only issue is that you are unable to suspend the game to continue playing at a later date which is a shame.
- Jeffrey Jarvis 7/10

Nice puzzle game, the fact that you can match diagonally is a nice twist.

Customer Reviews
Simply the best jave golf simulation. Very strong gameplay, very good replaylability and excellent sound effects never seen before in any other game.
- PANAGIOTIS GIANNOUKARIS 10/10

The mobile phone has built quite a big golf game library recently. From fully licensed games like tiger woods, to much more basic golf sims.

Golf club will surprise you, as it will fool you with an unlicensed look and feel, but then drag you into its deep gameplay, as if it was a fully licensed game, but with rpg elements!

Golf club does an amazing job at keeping you involved. The game developers have really thought about how they could create a game with such a basic gameplay element, but then include so much more in its surroundings. They have done this by implementing sub games. At first you need money to take on big players in competitions. So you can forget just flying through the opponents here. In order to do this, you need to take part in mini challenges.

Challenges are your fundamental golfing skills, which range from basic driving, to advance chipping all over the course. But wait..... Just taking part in challenges, grabbing money and running to the competition like tiger woods on red bull, isn’t all that golf club offers. Golf club also has a golfers shop up its sleeve too. You’re going to need to use your head with your hard earned cash as well. Trying to play the game with the same clubs and balls is going to be impossible and frustrating. So just get your wallet out, head to the store and stock up on new powerful clubs, high tech balls and even purchase some tips from your caddy.

So there you have it. Golf club is not just a quick stab at a golf game, but a real treat for those of you who love challenge, involvement and replay value. Better sound effects could have been used to give the game that overall edge, but don't let that spoil such a great game that awaits you. Future golf game developers........ The bar has just been raised!

Now im off to buy some clubs.....

- Andrew Linn 9/10

Cartoon style golf. It looks good, think nintendo. Loads of options in this game from tournament play to a practice round where you can choose that front 9 or rear 9 to compete on.

The gameplay is quite unforgiving, and you have to account for wind direction as well. Small mistakes will be punished with a hook or slice, or even worse a penalty shot from the water.

What made this game for me was the options available and the bright colourful sprites. Think about each shot though. Make a mistake, and be prepared to pay for it.

Spaceballs review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Spaceballs
Description
Experience classic gameplay with this extremely addictive and fun to play arcade puzzle game ! The game is simple but your goal is not; defend your planetoid by blasting all coloured space balls into oblivion. If 4 or more balls of the same colour touch each other, they are annihilated. So use this knowledge to your advantage and try to survive as long as possible. Don't forget to go for the COMBOS, because they will bring you a highscore ! One last advice before you dive into this space adventure: "Beware of the black holes!" Sounds easy, doesn't it? Just you wait and see...! Copyright 2004 AIM Productions N.V - All rights reserved

Soccer Revolution review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Soccer Revolution
Description
Are you tired of mobile football games with nice graphics, official licenses... and bad gameplay?
Soccer Revolution brings you finally a mobile football game that will make you spend hours playing with your mobile phone. Soccer Revolution has been developed always keeping in mind that it is a mobile phone game. Inspired in classic football games, Soccer Revolution has small but nice graphics, in order to get a major vision of the field, really useful for mobile phone screens. It is possible to make different kind of shots only with one fire button.

There are 32 different teams to choose and 4 different game modes: world cup, configurable leagues, configurable cups or friendly matches. This and much more make Soccer Revolution be one of the best mobile football games ever seen.

Customer Reviews
It looks nice and bright and cute in its match graphics but thats wher the fun ends. The gameplay is slow, very slow. Feels like an eternity gettin a player from one end of the pitch to the other, stringing passes together isnt a fast flowing move, its a long drawn out affair. If the gameplay was nice and fast this wud be an ace game but for me its just too slow to be worthwhile. Football is a fast exciting game, soccer revolution is not.
- Marc Gartland 5/10

Quite like sensible soccer on the amiga only much much slower. Takling is very difficult, sliding almost always gives a foul and a card. You have to tap 5 to pass and then hold different lengths of time for a kick - not easy on a phone! Also the after touch is just silly.
It looks like they've tried hard to make a footy game for a phone and got carried away. So close but not good enough. Try real football 2006 (not 3d version).

- Andrew Thorpe 6/10

Very impressive soccer game, but unfortunately with some twists: e. G. If you choose your own league (e. G. With the german soccer team), you will face 'yourself' (germany against germany) as the last oppenent. The standings are not displayed in my nokia 6230 version in every competition.
But for a short game in between is satisfying ;-).

Platinum Kakuro review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Platinum Kakuro
Description
Kakuro is the hot new puzzle game, in which the goal is to fill in a grid with only the numbers 1-9. When the grid is filled and the vertical and horizontal sums equal the numbers on row and column respectively, the puzzle is complete.
First things first though. Before you jump into the game, you'll want to let Platinum Kakuro's sophisticated tutor guide you through the game and explain all of the rules to you. If you want, she'll provide you hints as you try to solve the puzzle together.

Once you've got the hang of it, put your skills to the test in one of four completely different game modes: Kakuro Mode (play a traditional game of Kakuro), Time Attack Mode (resolve Kakuro grids in the given time), Solver Mode (enter a grid and let Platinum Kakuro show you the solution) and Custom Mode (create your own grid).

All of this with detailed and colorful grid designs as the backdrop, providing you with a zen-like feeling of calm as you test your skills and try to solve ever-more complex puzzles. And with many different skins (backgrounds), grids, and fonts to choose from; you'll have hundreds of thousands of possible ways to do it!

Customer Reviews
Having been basically addicted to kakuro for the last few months now, it would only become natural that I start searching for games that feature it. Such games, however, have been virtually impossible to find on mobile... Until now. Gameloft gives us the first real effort at recreating the "number crossword" on mobile and does so admirably.
Let's get the lone bit of real bad news over with first. If you've never tried one of these puzzles before, the tutorial mode is only marginally helpful at best. The smart female guide introduces you to the game and starts a puzzle for you, but only provides a tiny bit of information for actually getting started on a puzzle, and you have to finish the initial puzzle yourself. So it helps to have some experience under your belt before you pick this up. On the other hand, finishing the tutorial gives you one of the game's unlockable backgrounds, so it will be worth your while in the end.
The rest of the game can only be described as a real treat for kakuro fans. Gameloft went out of their way, it seems, to make the game relatively easy on the eyes. There's a great chance you'll be able to set the game screen to a configuration that will suit you. The controls are well thought out, too: you only need one thumb to play this game, something that will be no doubt handy for those with smaller handsets. The help features are quite useful if you get stuck, especially the option to sweep the game board for right and wrong answers (useful if you aren't sure about where you are). Just don't expect a free ride, as you can only use so many hints before you're left on your own.
What sets this game apart, though, is the brutal time trial mode. This mode challenges you to solve the puzzle against a time limit, and if you can do it at each difficulty setting (there are 3), you get a trophy. Only experienced players need apply for this mode, though, as the format literally demands that you work the grid quickly -- the time limits are tight -- and you can't get help. I got a rush the first time I beat back a puzzle in this mode, and you likely will too.
There's more to this game also, including a solver mode that lets you input a puzzle and see if the game can solve it, and a custom puzzle mode that lets you create your own. But the rest of the game is so engaging that you may not notice they're there.
Platinum kakuro is not for the raw beginner, truth be told, but everybody else who like this style of puzzle is in for a treat. There's enough here to keep you coming back for a very long time.

- David LeSaffre 8/10

The rating, I suppose, is neither here nor there in a lot of ways. Simply, this is kakuro on your phone - if you like kakuro puzzles, you'll like this game. If you're a fan of sudoku, but fancy something a little different, I recommend this. You can enter draft entries, change the fonts and styles used, even unlock several backgrounds for the game. As far as i'm concerned, worth every penny.
- Dan Coghill 8/10

Superb and highly addictive game. Normail mode is very interesting. Because of the awards system and time constrains the time attack mode is very highly addictive.
- Shuhud Nasoordeen 10/10

Customer Reviews
Superb game, the controls are totally spot on, in which u are trying to direct your guys using the 2 and 4 as arrows and getting the right hump when you hit five in between. I like the mission expecially the sniper ones but graphics are lacking a little. Very good overall though.
- Tony James 8/10

Good graphics and great gameplay once you're used to the small screen icons. One downside is that the game slows terribly when there is a lot happening on the screen.
- paul bovingdon 7/10

An enjoyable game with varied gameplay and a reasonable plot. It is short, but replayable as you try to better your scores. More missions would be nice though.

Customer Reviews
Great stuff, I use too love puzzle bobble in the arcades back in the day and after finding out it wasnt actually released on the d600e I found myself quite gutted! Luckily after searching throught the gamemobile index's I found this little gem, the graphics are fast enough too enjoy your game as well as good looking. This games actually feels like abit of an inprovement on the puzzle bobble series with the addition of power ups, all im wondering now is how many levels there are, I hope this little game has lastability factor cos it sure is fun a+++ love it.
- Ryan Holland 10/10

After the initial impressions that you are looking at another puzzle bobble clone, you soon realise that this is not quite true.

Game play is almost identical in that you shoot coloured balls (albeit with a pattern on) at other coloured balls, preferably the same colour, and try to remove all the balls at the top.

So far, so puzzle bobble. The difference here lies in the puzzle mode. Now you need to put some thought and planning into your gameplay. You no longer have limitless shots and ever dropping lines, you now have to make sure every shot counts, as you are often limited as to how many shots you get.

Of course, if unlimited shooting is your thing, this is also an option, and you are then firmly back in puzzle bobble territory.

The graphics are clear and very servicable considering the size of screen you are working on.

I can't say anything about the sound as I haven't played with sound.

Overall though, if you like your puzzle games spherical, your gonna love this one.

- Paul Haworth 8/10

This is a good game overall, with decent graphics and sound. It falls down however in the accuracy of the pointer.

The pointer moves in fairly big jumps at the tap of a key, and this can lead you to running into all manner of frustrations when you're in a pinch!

All in all though, when you're not pulling your hair out and screaming at the pointer, the game does have several modes and levels that will keep you occupied for a good while. The nature of the game also means it's good to drop into for a quick go if you find yourself with a couple of minutes to kill.

- Anthony Punshon 7/10

The game world of Anno 1503 can hardly be surpassed in the amount of detail. In Anno 1503, strategic planning, diplomatic wit and, if you wish, combat skills, are required. It is up to you! Decide whether you want to reach your goals in peaceful ways or with guns blazing. Be a clever trader, multiply your citys treasures as a mayor, and prove yourself in rough battles at sea.

Customer Reviews
Very little in the way of instructions on the game and therefore hard to play. Found it interesting thou with the realism of the ships reacting to the wind making combat a good challenge trying to outmanouver the enemy with superior sailing. I would have rated it higher with better instructions.

Ratchet and Clank - Going Mobile review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Ratchet and Clank - Going Mobile
Description
Ratchet and Clank mobile game brings the heroes into the mobile world…literally! The duo are zapped into the digital world, to escape, they hop on a carrier radio wave which delivers them to your mobile phone where their adventure begins!

Customer Reviews
After having played with the ps2 version of this game I was eager to try the mobile version out. Gameplay was good, it was quick, smooth and quite professional. As far as mobile phone games go this is one of the better ones i've seen. With a variety of weapons and around 30 levels. I've all but completed it, after being addicted to it for a while! However the end boss is beating me at the moment!

Overall a good tidy game.

Fully compatible with my se w950i, no touch screen support, but the keypad works nicely with it. Would definately buy from same developers again. Ratchet & clank fans shouldn't be dissapointed. Anyone looking for this style of game should be happy with this game too. I'm not a big mobile phone game person, but do enjoy the occasional gameplay, this suited me fine.

A very good buy.

- Andrew Shaw 7/10

Manager Pro - World Championship Edition 2006 review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Manager Pro - World Championship Edition 2006
Description
Immerse yourself in the excitement of professional football. Coach your
teams players throughout each match to secure the 2006 World Cup!
As the coach, make strategic decisions to defeat the opposing team
and advance to the next round. Control the starting line-up, change
tactics & formations, and adjust player in real time.

n Manager Pro-WCE 2006 the user can choose any of the 32 countries that are participating in the World Cup 2006 in Germany. The user takes on the role of the manager and will have to manage and train the team, trying to lead them past the finals and become World Champions. Like in reality the teams and the players are not all equally strong; therefore it is up to the manager to adjust tactics according to the next opponent. The manager also needs to keep a close eye on the condition of each player in order to have the best players on the pitch for each game. Training the team is also important because if the manager wants his team to win the manager has to make his team sweat on and off the pitch. In the game there is great information about the cities and the stadiums that will be used in Germany 2006. There is also a History feature letting you look at the past winners of the World Cup. This game is for any strategy game fan and of course anyone who likes football.

Customer Reviews
For me games like this are great for mobiles because you get to be a coach as well as watch the game play out and make half-time changes to adjust to your opponent.

You get the strategy as well as the action and for me this game is on my 'must have' list and I highly recommend it.

- Anonymous Review 9/10

This game is emence gr8 game for mobile and keeps you entertained for ages! Sam.

Wow - my driving skills have greatly improved in this superb racing game.
Either behind the wheel or landscape view - you are in total control.
Excellent graphics.
You will not want to come from behind the wheel.

- John Davies 10/10

Great rally game, in-car view as well as external viewpoint. Graphics run well on my se k600i, and look fine. If only my driving was as smoothe as the game itself!
- David Collins 8/10

Great graphics, well paced and for such a small display, the feeling of the handling and speed is very good. Probably the best rally game for mobiles.

Star Wars Battle for the Republic review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Star Wars Battle for the Republic
Description
Fight for power and control of the Universe in this all-new Star Wars multiplayer strategy game! Choose to fight for the Republic or support the Separatists as you deploy your armies and battle for control against your enemy. Strategically advance your troops, fighters and entire armies against your enemy. But be careful, one wrong decision may cost your team the galaxy.

Customer Reviews
Okay, i'm a big fan of strategy wargames. Ancient empires ii is to me an example of how it's done right on the mobile. Battle for the republic is an enjoyable game, but it features what I would call a bit of a strange mechanic. You see, you've got your base level ship fleets with no bells or whistles, and then you've got a few special fleets, like battleships. They have amped up attack and defense attributes. So here's the strange part: when a battleship fleet loses ships in combat, it can be reinforced with ships from any other unit, including the base level fleets. And what? They just instantly become battleships? Okay people, my suspension of disbelief only goes far enough to cover the concepts of spaceships, lightsabers, and force-wielding jedi. :-p this reinforcement technique abolished any sense of realism and changed battle for the republic from a serious wargame into a more abstract game of conflict like chess or go. But hey, i'm not really complaining here. I love chess, I love go, and this battle for the republic, once I altered my expectations, did turn out to be a nice little game.
- Michael Fransioli 8/10

This game is stupid, don't buy it. Horribly boring gameplay. This game is a waste of money.

Customer Reviews
The official lost game stays very close to the tv series... But not quite close enough. If you've never watched the show, you may find it somewhat confusing as you'll have to fill in some of the gaps with your own knowledge. Even though they are featured on the title screen, the characters of charlie, michael, sun and jin aren't in the game.
The game is very entertaining, albeit a tad short, and the graphics are bright and colourful, and the sounds are of a good quality. I would definitely recommend this game to fans of lost (as a lot of the dialogue doesn't make sense without the background knowledge of the tv show - for example, desmond appearing for the first time and jack acting like he'd been there the whole time... And hurley shouting "the numbers are bad!"), and to anyone who likes running around completing set objectives.

- Alexander Burrell 8/10

This is rather disappointing really. Being a massive fan of lost I was really looking forward to playing, badly sadly this is a rather unimaginative cash-in.

You get to control jack and have to complete various missions. These essential involve running from point a to point b (by simply following the arrows) sometimes dodging or shooting at things. I say shooting, but really it is just clicking 5 lots if anything comes near - the gun automatically aims itself. The are a few other variations on this theme where you are required to press a button repeatedly to complete tasks.

Along your way you bump into other characters from the show and have a wee chat with them. These 'cut scenes' just involve a bit of poor dialogue in speech bubbles which impart no useful or interesting information. They generally don't even make much sense regardless of if you do or don't know about lost.

The graphics are fine, but nothing to write home about. The game is viewed from above, so you move jack around the screens easily using either the numbers or the d-pad.
The sound is generally fine. Not as intrusive and annoying as with some mobile games, but the plinky-plonk version of the theme tune is laughable!

For me, the most disappointing thing about this game is that after nine levels of diffuclties ranging from the stupidly basic through to not especially taxing, nothing happens! It just finishes. Stops. And not a cliffhanger in sight! I guess I finished it within 30mins. There are no sub games and I have no desire to replay any of the levels on offer to me.

So in summary: a weak plot based very shakily on the awesome tv show lost. Unchallenging challenges. Limited gameplay. You'd be considerably better off saving your money to buy the dvds.

- Nic Watson 4/10

Enjoyable game, and follows the plot at a very high level. I have only one comment against it, and that is that its over too soon. You don't get very far into the game, and thats it, its over ! I guess its to whet our appetites for lost 2 when it finally arrives.

This set of mini games are great for those small pockets of time which are long enough for you to feel bored but too short to play a full game. I particularly like baseball, balloon, tower, shoot the cow . Great for kids too !
- Bernard Chan 9/10

Such a boring game!! Paint drying or grass growing would be more exciting!! Definitely not as good as other crash bandicoot games I have played but sadly at the minute they dont seem to be available for my nokia 6280.
- Roisin Kielty 3/10

Some of the mini games were too hard & the instructions were not clear.

The Sims 2 Pets review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
The Sims 2 Pets
Description
Get your paws on The Sims™ 2 Pets! Choose a puppy for your Sims to love as their own. Take it to the park, buy it fun toys and accessories and teach it tricks including roll over and dance. Make sure your Sim fulfils their pet's needs and gives it lots of attention because a neglected dog just might chomp and destroy the houseplants.

Keep their pup's mood up, because if it's happy, your Sim is happy. But remember, Sim pets have minds of their own, so expect the unexpected!

Customer Reviews
Wonderful graphics, it is just like the computer game if not better. Plus it has the bonus of being with you 24/7.
- Marianne Bledsoe 10/10

This game is a bit of a disappointment as the game play is very limited. You are given a list of goals, which you can achieve all in a matter of 20 mins or so. After you have completed the goals, there is basically nothing more you can really do with your dog. The graphics are very good and your doggie is cute but pity they didn’t add more locations and objectives with more items. If you are looking for a similar title which has far more game play and is a lot more entertaining(especially for kids) then rather get “dogz”.
- Neil Lawrence 4/10

It was really fun playing with it at first as I did appreciate the high res graphics & cool interactivities included in the game. I was very much happy taking care of the virtual pet, but it seems too easy for me. It's like, I finally got all the goals needed in just a day of playing it. After a while, it gets repetitive, and I was finally tired of playing it again and again.

It's a rousing game at first, but it may bore you after quite a while.

Fox Down review from www.gamemobile.co.uk
Fox Down
Description
Help Fred the fox jump from platform to platform as he tries to get back safely to solid ground. Several traps and obstacles must be hurdled before Fred reaches his goal. Numerous spiked platforms are present and stepping on them would cost precious hit points. Extreme caution must be exercised when stepping on platforms that have conveyor boards and on grass boards that quickly collapse. Stepping on trampoline boards may be a good idea only if you step on something solid after bouncing on them a couple of times. - Formulate a strategy to help Fred safely reach solid ground - Hit points can slowly be recovered as the game progresses - Be careful where you jump. Jumping to a wrong platform can result in a quick game over.

Bit of a disappointment in comparison to the console/pc versions. Provides a reasonable challenge though. It's just a pity that the graphics are a bit on the tiny side. For true fans of the series only, I think!

Customer Reviews
I was quite disappointed with this game as the graphics are quite jerky. Also the controls are fiddly as well. Only 4 events are included here, probably because of the limited memory, but it is a fair game and one you could play if absolutely bored. However if you are looking for a repeat of the torino 2006 on the pc or ps2 then you will feel hugely let down. In its defence though it would be expecting a lot to repeat the game content of the aforementioned formats.
- Simon Preece 6/10

I am sorry that this game had not lived up to my expectaions. I have a nokia 3220 and the first problem was that the game only included two sports, downhill skiing and ski jumping. I bought the game to play the curling game, which seemed to be the most thrilling, and it is even not included in the game. Apart from that the gameplay in downhill skiing is poor with poor graphics.
- Erik Malmstig 2/10

Excellent graphics, as a non gamer this is easy enough for me to play with 2 button controls mainly but hard enough to keep me playing, I really enjoy playing and trying to beat my own scores. Recommended.
