Tomb Raider Underworld
Description
Join Lara Croft in a mythical journey, as she embarks on her most treacherous adventure yet. Discover an ancient world of cryptic puzzles, hidden tombs and deadly enemies as you explore the wonders of the underworld. Based on the hit console game, Tomb Raider: Underworld brings you an action packed adventure of epic proportions. Master your surroundings using acrobatic abilities and deadly combat skills to help Lara reach new heights. Can you unravel the mysteries that await her?
Game ObjectiveTake control of Lara as she battles her way through her latest adventure. Your aim is to work your way through to the end of each level, getting through all the puzzles and enemies that get in your way.Starting the GameHighlight "TombRaider:Underworld" in the games menu on your phone. Press "Select" (or "OK" on the D-Pad) to start the game. You are prompted to choose sound either on or off. It's all about timing! • Enemies can be dispatched with accuracy if you place your shots well. If you keep firing, Lara will struggle to be accurate. If you pause between shots, Lara will have time to get a good shot in, you will see this by the target getting smaller and tighter as her aim improves.• Health is important! Always pick up any health you find.• If you want to see round corners, use the '0' key to activate the secondary cameras. You can then use the D pad to look around the room. Some rooms have more than one extra camera, use the 0 button to cycle through them.• Levels can be big, it's sometimes best to look around the level first to find out what you have to do before you dive right in• You can access all your previous conversations and the current mission objectives from the PDA which you can get to from the pause menu.• Lara carries many useful items with her, these can be found and used in the inventory which is accessed through the pause menu.

Customer Reviews
I think somebody once described this game as close as you can get to tomb raider on a ds. Correct!
It is an excellently crafted game with clear graphics and easy to use controls. I play it on a touch screen samsung marvel. Movement of lara is controlled by an arrow keypad and more complex functions (climbing, arming and disarming a weapon and firing) needs the use of a numeric pad. Both keypads are small,. Although large enough to be easy to use with fingers, easy to see, and leave ample room for a large and clear game display. Switching between the 2 keypads is easy and soon becomes a natural part of the game-play.
The game is remarkably complex with puzzles as well as the usual enemies to negotiate. And it has a maze like quality as it is necessary to remember ones way around numerous screens in a level to complete it.
As the game progresses a variety of sub-games are unlocked which provide further enjoyment.
Absolutely the best tomb raider game to hit the mobile screen!!!

Having been a big fan of tomb raider in all its versions (er actually maybe not the film...) I was keen to see how this version shaped up and I wasn't disappointed. Suitabley difficult and maddening in places (especially climbing seemingly endless walls), it is great fun. There are a couple of sub games which broke up the normality of running, jumping and twirling around bars like an olympian. The bosses were also fairly difficult in places which added to the fun. The puzzles were enjoyable and re-playable on their own seperately when you've completed them which adds great value for money. Really good, well designed and rendered game and can't wait for more 3d from electronic arts and couldn't recommend it highly enough,.

Good for the money - graphics above average but a bit repetitive. :-) I could do with smaller fingers when trying some of the moves that require quick responses between key choices on the keypad (climbing some walls and avoiding rock falls etc) of my n95 8gb - that's not so much the fault of the game, just my fingers!

Nice game - much better than the tr anniversary offering! Worth a few quid!
