I have played this on a bold 9700. It supports the full bold resolution and also the touchpad for controls(i preferred the number keys for controls though as they feel more accurate and all you need is left and right anyway since you can set it to auto-fire).
The game itself is a nice take on an old classic and familar to those who have either played the similar ds or psp versions of this remake.
Minimalistic but stylish graphics and new extra weapons make this game really stand out so if you are worried that it is too oldschool for you, don't be, these new additions make the game feel fresh.
what's also nice is the learning curve and challenging difficulty, you won't blast through this in one shot but you also won't have to give up too soon, it is nicely balanced.
It automatically saves your game so you don't have to start all over, yet you will only be able to save at the beginning of a new wave which means you have to beat a wave first before you can save again. That's good too, otherwise the game would be too easy.
This is among the best mobile phone games I have ever played and even kept me from playing on my 360 and wii lol, two thumbs up!

Good, simple yet addictive gameplay. Ideal for mobile, with basic controls. The game will test your thumbs, as can get difficult. It is basically space invaders but with a few changes, like powerups if you shoot down ufos, and the space invaders being placed in different starting positions on the screen, and different coloured aliens having different speeds and abilities. Good game. Sound unfortunately is disappointing, would have liked more satisfying sound effects for the shooting, explosions and aliens. The sound effects on this game are worse than on the original space invaders. So game loses a few points due to poor sound, but despite this the game is a good one to have on mobile. And definately worth a purchase if you're into shoot em ups.

If your into old-school gaming then this is for you, and if havent played many old games then give this one a go cos its fast paced and a challange, its way better than the original space invaders but true to the oldschool.
